I find it incredibly hard to dress myself in the winter. Perhaps I don't have the right pieces, or maybe I'm just over complicating something basic, but it has always been a struggle for me. Can you relate to that? No matter what time of year, I am always hot. Shorts and tank tops are all I will fathom putting on in the summer, but the winter seems like such a complex old bat.
A few weeks ago it was in the negative double digits here, and while we were trying to find ways to melt the ice that had accumulated on the inside of our front door, I was busy rummaging through my closet looking for something lightweight but warm. You guys, there was nothing I could find! Luckily I had made a large fabric order a few months back, and I was saving this special knit for an occasion like this. The material is so soft! It is amazing.
