There are some people who have one way to find inspiration and they stick with it. I'm not one of those people. For some reason, probably a screw up in my circuit board, I need lots of ways to draw ideas in. An example would be, when I am working on a sewing project, and I have no clue where the garment is going to go, I get really frustrated. And snappy. And mean. And I get on my own nerves. It's not a pretty picture. So I usually throw a movie on to play in the background while I work. However, sometimes my greatest ideas come while listening to music. Our music selection can reveal true colors to our innermost desires and passions. The corduroy skirt inspiration came from listening to Cinderella...hence why I made the post into a fairy tale story. Bippity boppity deal with it, people.
Honestly, music is my main motivator. So here are a few songs that I have gone to the last couple of days when working on projects to help me open up my mind.
