Driving, Family, and Great Food

The last two weeks have been mighty crazy! To start off, Branson finished his first portion of his summer semester classes. They divided up his semester into two part; two classes in May, three classes during June and July. But, seriously, you guys...it's June? Where on God's green earth did the last six months go? Maybe I should come out of introvert central once and awhile...nah. I'm comfortable there.

On May 29th, my little sister, Lyndsey, graduated from high school! I swear she just just this tiny little thing yesterday, and now she's getting ready to go off to college. Whoever said getting old was fun needs to have their head examined. I didn't sign up for this.

And then on Sunday, we made a hasty trip from Logan to South Jordan where Branson's grandparents live. You can't leave Grandma's house without gaining a few pounds, and boy do you enjoy it. His older sister and her little family came into town from Alabama, and Branson was dying to see our nephew. Branson didn't even want to leave that little boy's side for a second. I'm pretty sure that's Branson's way of hinting he'd like me to start popping out offspring. Nice try, buddy. We were so bummed we couldn't spend more time with them, but busy lives call for busy schedules. Darn it.

While the rambunctious family outings have occupied most of our time, I did manage to find some time to finish a few projects for the blog. My hands are so cramped from hours of hand-sewing projects together. Yet, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
