This is my little butterball of magic. I flipping love this kid so much. He is happy, smiley, curious, playful, and downright cute as a button. He has filled our home with so much love and joy. Not only does he have his Daddy wrapped around his finger, he has a way of drawing people to him. Everyone stops us to admire his sweet little face, or giggle when he gives them a big gummy grin. Caspian loves to be around people and is 100% a Mama’s boy.
We thought it would be fun to keep his name a secret until his birth, so we had everyone call him ‘Baby C’. Branson wanted to name him Thor but I was against that. One day I was scrolling on Pinterest, as one does when looking for anything baby related, and I found the name on a list of ‘unique and unheard of’ boy’s names. Branson and I like that it refers to the Caspian Sea. We chose the name Drake because it meant dragon. So we have our little sea dragon. Not only does the name sound beautiful (well, at least to us), but it has such a fun meaning. We’re nerds, okay? He has a plethora of nicknames, too. For example: Caz, Cazzers, Cazzmatazz, the Cazmanian Devil, Bubbies, Bubbers, the Nugget, Beetle Bum, and little prince just to name a few.
Currently he is 6 months old. He is still breastfeeding, but we have started to introduce foods into his diet. So far he hates peas and bananas. Sweet potatoes and mangoes are the current favorites, just like his Dad. Caz is a big boy, in the 93rd percentile and currently in 9-12 month clothing. His little personality is really starting to shine. All day he says da da da da until he is upset or hungry and then he wails ma ma ma ma.
He is our wild and free magical boy. Life means so much more when you have children.
