White Boxy Blouse

Just when I thought I couldn't find a fabric I loved more than the previous project, this showed up on the top of my fabric stash. For awhile now, I've really wanted a boxy top. I'm always a little self-conscious about how boxy dresses/tops look on my body. Normally I need to land somewhere between flowy and form fitting.

Like my previous tutorial, I used an old dress as a pattern, making the changes as needed. I also used bias tape for the sleeves, mainly for a little extra detail. The fabric itself is off white, and the bias tape is pretty in-you-face white, but I still love the way it looks.

Final product!

I absolutely love this shirt! The simple pattern and coloring would make it easy to mix and match different pieces together. I'm pumped!

Today I'm grateful for this guy...

Get it babe!
