I'm not the only crazy person who owns articles of clothing that just sit in the closet. Mine don't gather dust, but yes, I sometimes have a hard time letting go of my old clothes. If the pattern is cute, or the fabric itself is in good condition, I can't bring myself to give it away. I decided to keep this particular dress below which I have owned since middle school, I believe.

After chopping away the bottom skirt portion, I used a shirt I already owned for the pattern. This project went really fast.
Simply by pinning along the shoulders, sides, and hemming the neck/sleeves, we turned something I normally wouldn't wear into something I've worn twice this week already. Like...two days in a row. It's just that good.
*Today I am grateful for...family. We need to appreciate them always.
