Yeah, I'm up already. The maintenance guy, bless his heart, came over bright and early to fix the crapper. I finally rolled into bed around 4, falling asleep around 5. Branson just laughed at me when he started pounding on the door at quarter to nine. Luckily Branson was a sweetheart and let the poor guy in. I wouldn't have.
Onto the reason of this post...
Recently I've been trying to branch out of my normal outfit pairings. Sometimes it's super difficult using my limited wardrobe, but I've been trying. Pinterest is always giving me awesome ideas. So today, I'm going to show you an outfit that I wouldn't have put together without the help of Pinterest. Now, my version of this isn't a copycat. I think sometimes trying to fit your clothing to look exactly like the picture is really confining. I loved the idea of a button up shirt tucked into a pair of skinny jeans with a cute cardigan. I also love the simple details, like the belt. This whole look just really caught my attention.
This is how I created my version:
As you can see I went to dark blue skinny jeans, a green cardigan, and a powder blue linen button up. The greatest part about discovering your sense of style is looking for outfits you love, and trying to recreate them to suit your tastes with your own clothing. Now, I tried not to go overboard on the extra details. I decided gold was a good way to go, so I looked for jewelry and other items I could add to spruce it up. Branson gave the outfit his nod of approval. I'm excited to see what else I can up with!
