Late Night Rambling

It is currently 12:55 a.m, on June 18th, 2014. And I'm wide awake. This doesn't make me happy or sad...just kinda annoyed. Actually, I very rarely go to sleep at a normal time. Branson usually gets off work anywhere between 12-4 am most nights, and because I have this irrational fear of a random stranger breaking into my home to kill me in my sleep...I don't sleep unless Branson is home. On very rare occasions, I'll fall asleep, but Branson usually walks in the door about thirty minutes later, and I'm wide awake again. But honestly, could you sleep next to a man that smells like fry grease? Okay...I still snuggle up to him.

This blog post will most likely be pointless. I've got a playlist of bloopers going in the background on YouTube. The old (and much better) Whose Line is it Anyway episodes are playing. Have you ever felt that deep laughter from your gut rise up, only to be clogged in your throat because you are trying to keep quiet? That's happening now. To me. I just can't stop.

Also, my stomach is rumbling like Godzilla attacking the city. Run for your lives! I need to use the bathroom, but our toilet is broken and the lovely maintenance people didn't come by today...so I'm busting at the seams. This is one of those times I'm going to have to break my 'No-peeing-in-the-shower' rule. The smell of hot urine just doesn't do it for me. TMI? I'm sure you all really needed to know that. You're welcome.

I keep thinking about frozen burritos, mac and cheese, pickles, cotton candy, and beef stew. Cue the overproduction of saliva...now. The other day I mastered cooking a full course meal in the microwave. Props to me, eh? All I think about is food. No, I'm not pregnant--just a lover of random foods paired together at random times.

We should probably end this here. I could go on for hours randomly telling you the thoughts going through my sleep-deprived head. How could I subject you to such torture. Oh, wait, I already did. Well, I'm gonna go drink some pickle juice and continue to watch hilarious videos on YouTube.

*This morning I'm grateful for the internet and the many hours of joy it brings to me.
