One Year Down!

I've been married for a year! This fact seems weird to me, seeing as my husband and I also celebrate the anniversary of when we started dating back in 2011. Two years...ish....technically. To me that is our anniversary, but this one is the official anniversary. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Wanna know what I love about my husband? Well, it's your lucky day!

His laugh:
His laugh is a mix between a dying pterodactyl and a frightened baby seal. Once you've heard it, you will never forget it. One time he scared two old ladies out of Marie Callendars before they had even finished their meal. Gotta love this boy, eh?

His 'goof':
Sometimes his 'goof', or hilarious personality, is a little hard for other people to catch onto. But I've got him all figured out, and I think his 'goof' is refreshing and enlightening. Seriously, he is the epitome of Goof.

He's smart:

See him here, helping my Dad with his homework? It's math, and my family was not blessed with the math gene, so Branson, the sweet soul that he is, helped him on his homework one night.

He is romantic:

His sweet older sister married her best friend in February. This prize photograph was taken at their reception. My husband has a very romantic dance addiction, and he swirled me around until I thought my feet, or arms, would fall off. He loves to buy flowers and spoil me. Which I won't deny was really hard at first for me to handle. I didn't like it, but now I LOVE it. What girl wouldn't?

He loves ice cream:

He's eating ice cream in bed, people. This is a very rude and cruel side to him, seeing as I am lactose intolerant and I can't even stomach a nibble of cheese. :/  Okay, he's not cruel, but my stomach would disagree.

He has a unibrow:
I can't tell you how often I have to pluck this thing to a normal looking state before job interviews of nice events. One of those 'wife perks' I always heard so much about, eh?

He's secretly a superhero:

I came out of my room one night to see him running around the house like this with his arms in the air. He stopped and posed so I could take a picture, and then as soon as I had, he ran and did it all over again. At least our future sons will have someone to play superheros with.

He has the best happy face:

This is the day he mastered skipping rocks. He was so proud of himself and all he accomplished. I love that he has the same happy face as a small child.

Those are just a few things I love about my husband. Next year, I'll probably have more! Happy Anniversary to my Hubster!
