Anchor Tee

I have this horrible fascination with anchors. In fact, if I ever have the opportunity to do an album or EP, (crossing my fingers), I plan on using 'Anchor' in my title. Yes, I am slightly obsessed. So why should I stop at music? In my refashion pile I had this old gray shirt that I never wore because I felt it was very plain. I am anything but plain style wise. So I decorated my shirt up a little bit with...you guessed it: an anchor! Enjoy!

Plain Jane tee (love the neckline)

I grabbed a few things from my craft supplies.

Start by cutting the paper to the size you want to cover the shirt. I wanted a large image.

Then I drew an anchor. I have no real drawing ability. So this is as good as it gets. I held it down with my water and scissors. Then I took my blue paint and a sponge brush and began by outlining the anchor.

This is just with the outline. But I loved it this way, so I kept it. Yay for me!

Then to add a little more, I drew some fun little triangles to the front in no particular pattern.

I cut the sleeves off, because they were odd to me. I didn't like the way they sat on my shoulders.

Time for modeling:

Loving it. Now all I need is a cute cardigan, and we are set for business!
(Ignore the awkward arm tan...)
