Project Block

I had so many plans today. I was going to head over to the local Hobby Lobby and begin working on my friend's shirt, and I had plans to finish Lyndsey's quilt. However, I had a little accident, and I am not in a position to work right now.

This morning I was taking my brother, Stink, to school. My youngest brother, Chubs, wanted to go with us, but he didn't have shoes on and there were glass shards on the ground. So I picked him up and went to walk towards the car, but my foot slid off the step and I landed on it all wrong. I should have fallen face first, but I spun around and landed flat on my back, protecting Chubs from being squished. Stink ran and grabbed my brother, mom, and husband and they took me to the E.R.

After the shock wore off and the x-rays were taken, we have come to the conclusion that I have severely sprained my ankle. I have been ordered to remain in bed for today and the next couple of days I need to take it slow. Luckily nothing is broken, but I am in so much pain. I've tore my medial meniscus in my knee, and it doesn't even compare to how much pain I'm in right now.

So as you can see, I am not going to be going to the store. I'd send Branson, but he doesn't have my creative eye and attention to detail. So for the next few weeks I'll be working on my novel and music instead. Hopefully I'll have something creative sooner rather than later. Until then, happy crazy art making!
