Shirt Refashion

So, I got so caught up in this project that I didn't take pictures through the process, but I will post the ones I took when it was finished.

I had an old white tee shirt hiding in my closet. I never wore it because it had those nasty little armpit stains, and I didn't like how short it was on me. Tall girl needs her belly covered, right? Can I get an amen? No? Anyway, I love the light jersey knit of the fabric and how cool it is to wear in the summer months. Now that the weather is warming up I really wanted to find a new way to wear this. Good thing I have an excellent brain, right?

This is the finished project:

I added some fabric to the sides, and then added the same about around the bottom. It has a few mishaps, but I am very pleased. 

I think it looks great!
