Once again I was on Pinterest, and I stumbled upon a tutorial for this super easy maxi dress. I love these dresses because I can make them the length I want to cover my long legs. (Ah, the struggles of being really tall). So I went to Walmart and bought this light mustard-colored knit. I laid it down length wise and pinned three sides closed. Note: you need 60" fabric instead of 45". TRUST ME. Also, do NOT cut the fabric at the bottom where your feet go until you are done sewing. You'll see what I mean.
Sew along the sides. I don't think it really matters what you chose to do because there is so much fabric.
For the next part I kinda forgot to take pictures because I was really excited to see the finished product. Bite me.
After you've sewn the three sides, turn it inside out and find the middle of the smaller portion you sewed. Now cut a 6-12 inch line to make your neckline. And then go to the sides and measure from the top down 8 inches, and cut. This makes the sleeves. This is the finished product, and yes, I did glam it up a bit:
Now that you've done all that you can cut the bottom where you need your length to be. Good luck!
