I feel most comfortable in my sewing projects, but I think it's a wonderful self esteem booster to go out of your comfort zone and attempt something new. Which is what I did today.
Luckily I already had most of these things on hand. The only thing I paid for were the photos which I had printed at Wal-Mart. The picture frame itself is very lightweight, so I used small, thin nails, 6 in total. For the string I found some crafting thread and it felt sturdy enough to hold the photos and the little clips. You could use something with more texture like twine, which would give it lovely detail.
I debated on whether I wanted the frame to go vertically or horizontally. I had pictures printed in both ways. Personally I didn't love the way the pictures looked horizontally, so I chose to do a vertical arrangement.
Super cute right? You could really play around with this and create some really cool pieces. I think thrift shop frames or small art works would look really cool displayed like this. The possibilities are endless, my friends!
