Throwing It Together

I know a lot of those readers who follow along have been looking for sewing posts. Where have they gone? Am I going to post a refashion ever again? You never thought you'd hear an answer, did ya? Well, today you are! Yesterday I dropped my machine off at the service center here in Cache Valley, and I pick it up tomorrow. They told me if anything was wrong with the machine that they would call me, so I'm assuming since I haven't heard anything that everything went well and he was able to fix it. But just in case...cross those phalanges! Now, if everything goes well, you can start to expect new sewing projects up on the blog next week! I don't know about you guys, but I am so excited to see what almost 5 months of creative buildup has to offer.

Today Branson took my to the store and we picked up a few things including an ironing board! For those of you who don't sew, the ironing board is a must have. (If you want your project to look mediocre, don't use one. Take my word for it--or don't. It's up to you).

While Branson is off at school, I started throwing together my new sewing room! Have a quick look.

The anticipation of having my baby back is going to be the death of me. I am so excited to finally experience a creative release once again. I already have a bucket of projects lined up!

*Today I am grateful for...men/women who are able to fix what the rest of us break. They don't receive enough credit.
