My husband and I just returned from an awesome trip to Austin, Texas to visit his family. The only part of Texas I had been to, before this trip, was Dallas, and even then, we just drove through it. So getting to check out Texas was really exciting for me. Plus, it was so warm! Even when the rain came down and the floods came up (ha!) it felt like heaven. Here in Utah it's 37 degrees where we live. Ouch, you guys. Ouch.
But first we went to the Muse concert at Energy Solutions Arena, in Salt Lake. I've seen Muse perform once before, and they did not disappoint this time either. If you want to have your socks blown off, and your hair stand up on the back of you neck (in a good way, of course) go see them in concert!
Our first night in Austin, all the siblings got together and went out to dinner. You guys seriously need to meet these three girls, because they are awesome! Be jealous they're my family and not yours. I'm kidding, of course. Maybe.
Sunday night EVERYONE got together for dinner, except Tristyn and PJ. :( But boy was the food amazing!
My mother-in-law shaved Branson before church. Guys, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It was the best thing I have ever seen. Nothing beats a grown 22 year old getting his face shaved by his mother.
And of course, PJ. No one has a nephew this cute. Seriously. He took to Branson at Bri's farewell, and Branson was loving it. Such a ham.
Speaking of ham...this guy, right here, is such a goof. He's Branson's best friend. Terrence is awesome! He makes amazing music and is so much fun to hang out with.
Now, I know you were probably looking for photos of cool places we visited in Austin, but that was not why we were visiting. Our entire trip was focused on family, and I absolutely loved it. Bri is getting ready to serve and LDS mission to Brazil! She will be gone to 18 months, and any amount of time we were able to spend with her was way better than anything in Austin.
